96th Annual IACTE Conference and Annual Meeting
OUR 2026 KEYNOTE SPEAKER: PAUL RITTER
Paul Ritter is a nationally recognized educator, community leader, and innovation advocate whose work bridges environmental science, student empowerment, and real-world learning. As a dual-credit instructor for Pontiac Township High School and Heartland Community College, Paul has built a reputation for transforming classrooms into launchpads for change—leading hands-on conservation projects like Operation Endangered Species, Kickapoo Prairie restoration, and large-scale community environmental initiatives. His programs unite K-12 students, universities, civic organizations, and industry partners to foster ecological stewardship, workforce readiness, and civic engagement. Driven by a belief that education should be both impactful and accessible, Paul consistently gives young people the tools, confidence, and platforms to create a better world.
Beyond his work in environmental education, Paul is the co-founder and director of the InnoVators program—a global youth entrepreneurship initiative dedicated to identifying, supporting, and celebrating young innovators. His vision blends competition, mentorship, and practical skill-building, nurturing students who go on to launch companies, solve real-world problems, and shape their communities. From classrooms and prairie fields to boardrooms, Paul Ritter brings passion, purpose, and a lifelong commitment to elevating people, preserving history, and shaping a vibrant future.
